why not start having home games like soccer boost money for clubs and gives the fans the real feeling for "Home Game"

It would be great but we can't even have VFL games at Punt Rd anymore let alone AFL matches  :-\. Even with the realignment of the oval to the same size as the Docklands Punt Rd will never again host Richmond games. Too small to fit a decent crowd in (it was pretty packed with just 2-3,000 watching Cuz train for the first time) plus there's zero corporate and other facilities.

i would love to see it, but Punt Rd Oval would need a massive re-development to fit us all in! this wouldn't be possible, as it would be impossible to move it any further towards Punt Road, moving the road itself is not an option lol, and we would probably not be able to afford to upgrade unless the AFL chipped in. wouldbe great if it were possible though.

As someone posted before in another thread Atletico Madrid got around the problem of a major road that block the expansion of their home ground lol
