Spot on Infamy. Although our first pick will most likely be a midfielder if Butcher has already been taken you would think.
Given we'll finish most likely 12th we may use 5 National draft picks because the 5th one would be around pick 72 in a draft where one third of the normal available kids are ineligible. Even our 4th pick (~#56) may be iffy given the club's draft history
. Why that extra pick was so important and why we must trade for more picks as early as we can get them.
Our PSD pick would be #5. Unless another Cousins falls from the sky we'll be better off picking up a kid that would be the best of the rest after the National draft especially with GC17 having the first 5 rookie draft picks. With one of our rookie picks I would take a raw ruckman to replace Simmo when he retires.
