Of course Collingwood are keen on Lids
Every team in the comp is interested in him
Shame the pies have never been able to land a big fish because they are unwilling to offer anything decent to trade
They will finish up the top of the ladder this year and will have nothing to offer to get a trade done

Well they wouldnt of been if he didnt instruct his manager to look at all options. :banghead

Rubbish.  If you have a player of worth the manager is always going to shop around to see the best value his player could get and take it back to the current club to help with bargaining.   I am not surprised at all that Lids manager would be meeting with other clubs.  That does not indicate he wants to leave.

Before panic builds to hysteria, people need to remeber that the path out of a club is pretty difficult unless you play inetrstae and simply wanna go back to Vic in which case there's a heap of leverage when bottom rungs are occupied by Melbourne clubs ...if a player is disgruntled a'la O'keefe it becomes a lot more difficult to land at the preferred club unless of course they happened to finish bottom (unlikely). Ottens should not be used as an example as RFC were quite happy to see him depart after a couple of flat seasons and prospect of 2 R1 pix in compensation. I am sure the club would be much more inclined to secure Lids and like Kerr last year and Hodge and Lake right now , his manager will aim to maximise the worth of this contract as he enters his peak period...so to all, stay cool :gotigers

Wrong., he actually wants to go to a club to play finals, he  wont get that at Richmond.

And furthermore, if you know he is resigning, why did his manger meet with Gary Pert this week, FACT!

Perhaps because his manager actually has some Magpies players on his books... FACT  :rollin

Don't give lids to much tigertime, 13 contested possies , that's 25 contested possies in 2 weeks . You just don't know what's going on do you? And from those contested possies 81% effectiveness . BUT you still can't bring yourself to give him too much credit. I don't know why I bother talking to people who are just spectators and are only at the footy to be an audience.
