Must admit  i have noticed the seeming interchange indecision as well...i havent been able to figure it out and just thought it was another way of conveying a message to the players....But did think it was strange and didnt look good .

Mate its a disgrace.
Doesnt even happen at Suburban footy, but if happens at Richmond :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead

You havent watched players running to the interchange at stoppages leaving as one short on the ground.

So seeing Geelong did the same thing last night in the final qtr with the game in the balance is Mark Thompson in line for some of your rhetoric?

or did you miss that

This is basic football stuff, dont blame the players , its a coaching thing.

Sorry if players are given instructions and DON'T follow them, is that a coaching thing or a player thing?

Whatever time to move on

I don't understand the insults and vitriol directed at Jade over his caretaker role. No one could have done any better, you can't turn around the list in such a short period of time. Others have had 5 years and done less than he has in 10 weeks.
I'd be happy for him to remain at the club, either as coach of Coburg or as a match day assistant (or both).

A little respect would be nice for a change, He may not be the man to take over, but he shows passion for the club and he at least he had a go. His honesty and youthful exuberance was refreshing to see from an AFL senior coach.

Your comments prove about your knowledge of the games.
You havent been watching the kicks ins to contests for the last 3 weeks.
You havent watched the pathetic efforts by our ruckman at stopages , especially in D 50-repeatedly hitting the ball the opposite way that they should.(Thus Simmons is back this week )
You havent watched players running to the interchange at stoppages leaving as one short on the ground.
this is suburban footy stuff I am afraid.
And very rarely do we try and spread at stoppages ( Apart from Lids and Cuz )

Would think the Malthouse article is 100% on the money, although Jades future is now determined by his own lack of ability
Well in case you hadn't noticed, for most of this year he was a suburban level coach.
He's a caretaker, he managed to get the side playing spirited football for a couple of weeks here and there after taking over the side.
Things have gone pear shaped in recent weeks, however I don't see that as a reason to hate him, or to insult him
Critisise him all you like, however the insults and pure hatred directed towards him by some people are well over the top and just highlights how primitive some people on this forum are.

Plus it's not all Jades fault anyway. The last few weeks our side hasn't run at all, so unless Jade's instructions are just to mingle around on the ground, they aren't following instruction. His comments in press conferences would also highlight that its the PLAYERS who aren't working for their team mates and aren't working hard enough.

theres no need to go after Jade. Jade was entitled to go for the job. In reality he has potential but its probably 5 years away for Jade to win a senior AFL job. In the mean time he should go to a club and get a flag whether its in the VFL or at suburban level.

Might just add . I know who can coach ?
Watching VFL on TV, Gary Ayres has more idea than people think. His quarter time speach real good. Much better than Wallace used to do

that's very funny.

Although at VFL level he is very good. He is a good example of what can be achieved when the coach has the total support of all around him , which is what he has at Port Melb (especially from the past  players)

Which is sadly something that has been seriously lacking at Richmond for ages
