I'm disappointed he has left. I was hoping he could work with Hardwick, continue in his Coburg role and focus on development.

If though, he would have made Hardwicks role more difficult or compromised the coach in any way then I can understand the move.

Just curious as to why would people would think if he stayed he should have gone back to coaching Coburg?

Find it interesting

I think he was making a fair fist of coaching at Coburg with the younger team especially.  There was some obvious rapport and respect and in this developmental aspect I think he was ok.  Only time will tell if he has what it takes to make it as a successful coach but I would have been more than happy for him to move back to Coburg in the role he had - with a new game plan to work with he would have been worth keeping imho.

Smokey l think that cold weather is freezing your nuts  ;D
Rawling had no idea how to develope them young players as they all went backwards. The whole Coburg side went backwards. But l wont lay total blame on him & will include McRae, Royal, King, & others

Go Richo are you still upset that Jade "your man" didnt get the job. Get over it pal

who could forget your posts when we beat the Eagles and Demons, claiming the "players played for him , and we are playing a better brand of football under Jade... bla bla bla

Jade is a softie, simple as that. He proved he is not fit to coach AFL Football, that much was obvious

players dont respond to the likes of him and Wallace.

Daniel you forgot to mention those great wins were against 17/18 fit players in the opposition teams  :rollin :rollin oh 1 draw against a broken Kangaroos
A Auskick dad could have coached them  ;D

You bloody Mexicans are only jealous - video skyping with my father last week (he lives in Bendigo) and he was all rugged up moaning about it being freezing outside.  Ha - I was in a singlet and shorts at the time!   :P

I thought Coburg punched above their weight division for the first half of the season and that (to me from a distance) seemed to largely coincide with Rawlings being left alone to coach 'his' team.  Once the crap hit the fan mid season then things went awry and I don't think anyone could be blamed for not producing results then (McCrae included).  Anyway, he's gone now and it seems that a real wind of fresh air (much more than just a breath) is blowing through Punt Rd.  I for one, am very happy and comfortable with that, and even though I was one of those that gave Wallace the full measure of time and support for his plan, I am very happy with seeing his back and Hardwick's front (not literally speaking of course)  :o.  And for better or worse, if that wind of change takes out fave's like Bowden, Tuck, even Richo then so be it - we are a club long, long, long overdue in shifting the balance of power from the playing group to the coaches and management team.
