Browny to St Kilda?
« on: September 27, 2009, 04:31:40 PM »
Wallace was just on SEN pushing hard for St Kilda to pick up Browny. He blamed for Saints' forwards for failing yesterday and said if Browny had the chances Milne and Schneider had Browny would've taken them and he would put pressure on the other two to perform as only 2 of the 3 could fit in the St Kilda side.

Browny said earlier today that 2-3 clubs have shown interest and SEN had him going to St Kilda as a rumour.

The only issue with that Terry is that he would've leaked 4 or 5 goals by not being accountable to his opponent.
Also, so slow compared to the other two. TW, give it up.

No doubt Wallace just wants to help a mate out. He would have promised Browny a shot at the flag and never delivered on it. If it means that Browny's value goes up then thanks Terry  :thumbsup

Lyon is from the Paul Roos school of trading for players if they fill a need. Maybe a package deal of Browny and Jordie for pick 49. Both players have no future at Punt Rd so I guess we should be happy with whatever we can get. Pick 33 would be more useful to us but that's probably wishful thinking although the Saints did pay pick 24 for Schneider and Dempster IIRC.

The problem for Browny is since the broken leg his kicking penetration and speed has dropped off. He still has the footy smarts but his body can no longer keep up with his mind.

McMahon will not be going to St Kilda for reasons mentioned in another thread.
Browny is a chance to go to the Saints. Perhaps they are of the inkling of letting go the Filthy Twerp who can't perform in big games and are prepared to pick up Browny who is much classier than Milne.
Furthermore Schneider at least has had premiership experience at Sydney and is much younger than Milne who away from the Telstra Dome can't catch a cold. Saints know they are on their last chance with this group from the 2000 draft if they still have a chance so they will be prepared for one last top up of their list before they really start to think about offloading players and looking ahead for 2015

Another case of Wallace looking after his own.
If we can get money for him, then lets take what we can get out of it.

Surely we can make a cent or two from him.
And no I didn't know about the transfer fees were abolished in 1984.
So who said you can't learn something everyday.

Why would we want cash? We want picks
If there are more than one club interested in him then we have a decent chance of getting one

good i hope someone takes him and they will see what a selfish player he is.

How the Saints would even consider a player who cant and wont lay tackles in the forward 50 is beyond me

only after money our Browny was, much like his mate Wallace, thats why he left the Buldogs.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

was told today that Brown was shown the door, as it was perceived that he was bad influence on the playing group.

Would think that was his only infuance, as on the feild he didn't infuance much in his time with us.
Yes I know he broke his leg and was never the same after that.
So I have taken that into consideration.
