Would like him to stay but don't really care if he stays or goes as long as we get a good deal out of it. Longer and brisbanes first rounder is a good fit for the reasons Dwaino stated, we desperately need an up and coming future number 1 ruckman. But Hawks and Pies are into him bigtime, just depends on how highly Brisbane rate Dusty.

Obviously won't contemplate signing until well into the trade period to see if he can get any interest at all from clubs which will give him more control back over his contract decision.

I agree with tony though - if he goes we need to make sure it is not for nothing. Ive seen Adam play and he is quality. I would suggest that he would challenge Martin for output over a full game our team. Love to get Longer too but may have to offer up too much for him with Hawks and Pies all over him. I find it strange their over the top interest - they don't have the immediate ruck concerns we do (and have had for many years).

Can't  believe some on here are talking about the trade possibilities or that they don't care if he leaves. FFS, I think  a lot of you are doing what you did all year, you did and are playing down his value to our finals aspirations and a shot at the GF.

We should be supporting getting him back. Don't expect to finish top 4 without him, actually I wouldn't be surprised if we missed the 8, should he leave. He was a match winner for us many times this year, he would not be easily replaced.

I rate him very highly, but IF he wants to leave then his hearts not in it so id want us to get the best out of a bad situation. I just lost some respect for the way this has panned out, been messy and the timing is all wrong imo.

Fair enough but his heart is with the club, that is the vibe Leon Comeron gt he other day when Dusty went to visit GWS. All the crap has to stop, get it sorted and sign him IMO.
