Dimma said before the Essendon game that Dusty was sore. It's why he's playing more forward to 'rest' up his body.

Makes sense. He's still making a valuable contribution.

Tigers coach Damien Hardwick has found the launch codes for his star utility and is using him right where it hurts the opposition most — one-out inside 50m.

One-on-one contests close to goal are notoriously difficult to manufacture, but Hardwick has found a way to deploy Martin inside 50m while clearing the space around him.

"It’s pretty good coaching and pretty smart. Geelong do it well with (Tom) Hawkins, they find a way of getting him in one-on-one’s and that’s hard to do in today’s footy.”

What a flog Brad Johnson is.

Dusty last went to ground when he learnt to walk.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

Was thinking the same thing Big Fella. Dusty has always kept his feet. One of his great strengths.  Unlike Johnson , who's greatest strength was his uncanny ability to stage a push out , take a dive and receive a free kick.

Agree, ranks just behind Lloyd as one of the biggest stagers of all time

The left or right one?

She got the oval one and I gave his left and right a bit of a gentle squeeze

I'm more disturbed by the revelation that Chucky's produced offspring.

*ahem* Anyway....thought Martin was quite poor for most of today. Thought his decision making in particular was terrible and that's when was actually thinking about it and not just banging it on the boot.. Guees it's the mark of a champion that he was still able to make a crucial play when it most mattered.
