Dusty will retire at the end of the season IMHO.

x2. Will do serious damage to his legacy if he plays on.
No disrespect we have all seen his last couple of seasons. At age 33 im not going after him if im at another club.

That novelty will soon wear off if he is playing like poo most games.

Reckon we have an obligation to gently push the great man in the right direction and that is retirement not some circus on the gold coast.

I've said and it's been my view for most of this year he will retire

But don't expect him to do anything footy related.

We  he walks away from footy that will be it. Can't see Dusty as a coach

Can see him jetting of either first or business class around the world

He can take over from Richo on Talking Tigers podcast
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I can't see Dusty doing anything footy related. Similar personality to Plugger but a dusty always surprises us.

He loves his golf at Heritage, can see him working on that pretty average handicap of his for the next few years and can in on his property portfolio. Deserves a very relaxing post footy life, has earnt it.

Radio says he’s retired effective immediately. You’d think he’d last till the end of the season.  I love the man and everything he’s done for the club… just hope it’s all ended okay for him

It hits hard when you realise you'll never see him play again.

The best I've ever seen in Richmond colours. Probably any colours.

Ride off into the sunset and enjoy life, champion.

Tough day, even though it was inevitable and coming.

Will always love this man, I'm so flat we don't get a farewell game, but it's so Dusty to not make it about himself and sorta expected that.

I'm bias but the greatest Richmond champion of all time. Broke our draught which felt like a lifetime. Forever yellow and black immortal.

Thanks Dusty.
