Vickery developing into what may I ask ?. A netballer ?? If it wasnt for his dad being down there, he would never of got to punt rd.

I thought you were smarter than this. He's in his 2nd year FF Jackie.
Not all rucks develop at the same pace and most are slow believe it or not.
I think Vickery will prove you wrong and to write him off yet is folly. Still plenty of maturing in that body to do yet.

He looks promising but Roughead's played one bloody game.
At 19, both are still babies in terms of ruck development.

You've offered up Roughead on the back of one outing but there are countless examples where rucks have taken 3,4,5 years to mature.
Vickery has the tools & smarts to be a very good player IMO.

Dumb thread  8)

Vickery is our ruckman of the future. Can we please bring in Graham to replace Simmonds. At least this would be a young, enthusiastic combo  :)

Browne needs a tank, I like him and rate him but I think he suffered from a lack of endurance.  If it is something that can be corrected were on to a winner with him, otherwise, he might end up a monster forward option... I dunno

Would agree, better option than Vickery and Graham

We dont seem to develop our ruckman, most of our recent first rucks going back to Mark Lee are all imports, we got some good years from Gale when he left CHF but whats going wrong with our development of the big fellas coz it still seems to be happening they come and go we get nowhere

Watched Coburg play on Saturday. Was not overly impressed by our ruck division. Vickery needs to bulk up.

I can see why they kept Simmonds on.
Tyrone Vickery isnt going to make it , why ?
He is way too femine.
He plays the game like a girl, flaps his arms and adds nothing .
Graham like wise.
We need to look at BROWNE ASAP.
At least Browne has a go and what I seen at Coburg on the weeknd, we have something to work with, Graham and Vickery NOTHING

Interesting for those who were watching on the couch tonight.
They gave both Vickery and Riewoldt decent whacks.
Said Vickery doesnt go hard enough and show an example where he let a goal go through ::)
