Lol Grimes or not we have had opportunities to play Blight, only thing it could be is he is showing nothing and he mustn't be worth giving a game to. :snidegrin

Or that he’s been at the club for 3 minutes and has to settle in and learn structures etc
What a load of absolute bull dust. Apologists everywhere.

Why ?

The bloke has literally JUST ARRIVED

Wonder if any mid season draft pick has debuted the week of being selected

Typical ill informed answer.

On the thread title Grimes should retire now it should have happened before the mid season draft and thats is being kind.

Ill informed why?

Typical narcissistic nonsense

If Dylan can get his back right, then he deserves a farewell game

Agree 1 farewell game for the champ.

100%

People have short memories
This guy was huge during the dynasty years

The dynasty years are now nearly 4 years behind us.

Who cares? No1 is saying to give him a new 1 year deal. Giving a stalwart of our club who contributed a great deal to one of the greatest periods in our clubs history a farewell game isn’t going to change where we’re at 1 iota nor is it gonna impact the career of any of the younger players who he would be ‘taking’ that game from.

That's surely farewell to a modern great you'd think?

Thanks Grimesy. Premiership and AA defender. 2019 was out of this world.

Be just like the club to give him another year just to give him a farewell game....hopefully it would at least be before the MSD.... :shh

He sure doesn’t need the money
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

They need to name him for one game and put him on the bench (or on the field I suppose wont make much difference) for a farewell game just so we don't give him another year for a farewell game.

Has been a star and such a great leader in the backline through our dynasty. Feel horrible for him to be potentially going out like this.

Probably went a bit wobbly since he was made captain but an all time great of our club. Played on talls and smalls  with a complete ownership of some of the competitions great smalls - Charlie Cameron, I’m looking your way.

Best game he played was when he destroyed Port. Can't remember what year, but was during the dynasty.
And you may not think I care for you
