at least mccarthy was only going to be PSD pick.

Sherman, if we were actually interested, was going to cost picks and a decent wage. At least we dropped out once the bidding got above what they thought he was worth.

Same thing will happen with cloke.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Oh my stuffing god. Thomas is a monkey. Russel is a monkey. Chaplin is soft and inconsistent and who is the other spud we're chasing? Lachie Hansen?

"Why doesn't Craig Cameron get credit for anything" :lol

gee whiz. ;D

Hanson is a budding Flower about to burst into Full Bloom......All we need to do is get him on the list add some blood and bone Bingo, we have a GUN :shh
if i was targeting a tall from north it would be pederson or black. they arent getting a game unlike hansen.

Yep and them not getting a game is the reason they probably aren't worth targeting over Hansen

pederson has been tearing it up in the vfl the only thing stopping him getting a game has been norths talls all going alright.

black has been injury riddled to date but every time hes got a game hes done alright.

hartleys brief is not to target  established players from other clubs at huge cost,  but players who for what ever reason are not getting a regular game but have the attributes to add to our team and wont cost the earth..the idea is to still stay in the early rounds of the nd and find players who can add to our team. of course hansen would add to our team but he is now going to cost a fortune and he is not likely to want to leave having finally established himself. 12 monmths too late imo.

this is why i say black and pedeson would be good targets.

north wont be trading petrie tarrant or hansen but they may  be forced to let others go on the cheap that fit into hartleys brief.

Bloody hell, what's the attraction to Sandy?! I never thought Cook stood out too much and I see a bit of Sandy since I'm just around the corner and workmate plays there.

Sure beats recruiting soft HBF like webberley or soft HFF like maric, and midgets like Contin & Nason

MYKE hopefully works better than MYKI

Workmate reckons a few clubs are looking at Cook. Played most of his juniors with him reckons he's a champ bloke. He usually plays wing but can go inside. Also said he'd have anyone at Richmond for pace. Thinks we should also look at Adam Cockie who I agree with. Bloke is tough as nails. The other Sandy player we were looking at I dont think we'll go after if we get Chaplin.

I don't know Sandy at all. Seen them play once. Can you tell us who it is or is it hush hush?

me too always thought him a decent player wanted him in the 09 draft with pick 71 or rookie listed him. would do the same this yr.

personally with our first pick if we use it in the nd id go for jake stringer.he could be the next goddard or even pavlich.

would really like to find a way to get a pick around 20 25.  use pick 9 1st rnd, 20 to  25 traded for,  30 2nd rnd,  35 cp.
4 in the top 35 would be great. from there we can target mature players and use free agency.
4 picks in the top 35 would allow us to maybe take a player like tom lee at 35 im absolutely certain he would be in the mix before  48 and probably would not be available to us there.or perhaps the extra pick would allow us to take a kpd like tanner smith at 25 or 30 and punt on lee being there later.

three of
chaplin fa
hartigan rookie
lee nd
would shore up the defensive shortcomings and still allow us to target the mids we need early in the draft
