Fair enough all I'm saying is, that if after 3 years under hardwick we are still poo, will the club lump it all on him like his predecesors? or will the players have to put their hands up and take the heat after bitching all preseason about how bad it was under wallace. For mine, they've dug a hole, and they better be performing in a couple of years....
I think you are correct in regards to the club rather than the players. Our current core group are all 22 or under so it's hard to lay any real responsibility upon their shoulders but...players who had been around for 10+ year, seeing out multiple coaches, well yes I agree with you, they should be held accountable. Now that we have gotten rid of most of these older players and (other than Cousins) those few that are older than 22 are all on shaky ground, it's now the clubs and coach's responsibility of any failure or success we have. If we have not invested in enough development, facilities, educators and fitness staff, then that's not the coaches or players fault, it's the clubs.
So ultimately, if we do not begin to improve and succeed after 3 years it is probably more the clubs fault than anyone else's.
