Cousins 22 touches
Deledio lots
Tambling 30
Connors 18
Pleasing day alround. Great to see Blingers rack up 30 possies.

I didn't hear Cuz in that last quarter so 22 touches in 3/4 of footy  :thumbsup. Maybe one of the reasons why we fell away in the last on top of our intensity dropping.

Great to see many of our 2009 recruits having good games. Promising for the future.

exactly what its all about MT  :thumbsup  its a run to get them playing together. not a gut busting run like a prem points game
its about getting through the game uninjured & completely tasks set out

lol its a practice match who cares the results or what happens
come round 1 all teams will spank us silly.  ;D

thanx for the reality check. Just buy your membership before r1. the boys deserve your support  ;D

lol they wasted so much money trying to get me to buy those memberships but sadly like l wasted money in the Frawley / Wallace era it aint happening anymore l shown my support only to see the club tanking enough is enough.

But its great that the young cubs are on top of Geelong 2nd tier experienced players

Go away Monk...sick of your constant whingeing.  :wallywink
If you won bloody tatslotto, you would whinge about having to go to the bank to cash the cheque!!

no just drove down to St-Kilda road handed them the ticket & they handed me the cheque & off l went no big deal  ;D

Close to a sellout at the ground which is good for the fire-appeal. Close to 6000 people there today  :clapping.

great turnout for country footy :clapping

yes this is exactly what the club has needed for years its youngsters pushing out the players who think they dont have to do it hard anymore.
The more preasure these cubs put on senior positions, will weed out the below standard players we have

from the AFL site.....

Richmond 102 d Geelong 51 at Yea

A heartening win for the Tigers against an inexperienced Geelong outfit at Yea, but any victory over the reigning premier is one to be savoured. Richmond led by a goal at quarter time but proceeded to keep Geelong goalless for the following two terms to set up the win. Richmond led by more than 10 goals in the final term before Paul Chapman and James Podsiadly helped to add some respectability to the scoreline. Jack Riewoldt finished with four goals and Mitch Morton booted three for Richmond, while Troy Taylor and Relton Roberts both kicked their first majors in yellow and black. Geelong was best served by Chapman, while Travis Varcoe continued his strong pre-season, Jesse Stringer impressed and Podsiadly provided a strong target in attack.

Been working but keeping an eye on the score through this site! Well done One eyed rites! Well done Tigers! I guess the temptation is to say how undermanned Geelong were but it would have been a whole lot worse if we lost! We have talent, will win a few and upset a few fancied sides but we get cop a floggings too! It goes with the territory but we are going in the right direction i feel!

i find it intersting on radio they keep saying how young the geelong side is

however

Richmond had 6 players 25 yoa +

Geeleong 12 players 25 yoa +

Dont beleive the hype - Geelong came out and they are big boys, against us I thought oh no! but all credit to the boys even being NAB challenge and all.
