Pauline Hanson's had enough of Australia
Fiona Byrne
Herald Sun February 15, 2010

ANTI-immigration mouthpiece Pauline Hanson is packing up her bags and emigrating.

She is departing for a new life in the UK, claiming that Australia is no longer the land of opportunity.

I wonder if the Kumars at No.42 will welcome her at Heathrow  :rollin

If she really is off to the UK then she is in for a shock given her views lol.

She pandered to the lowest common denominator with her insecure fear-raking views and came up with crazy ideas for the economy like zero taxaxtion. She also fed off taxpayers money every 3 years given elections are publicly funded if you get a minimum 4% of the vote. She wrapped herself in the flag but now tells us she doesn't like Australia  ::). Don't let the door hit you on the way out Pauline.

Yes and no.

UK is a very multicultural country as well, whilst the % of people born outside the UK is probably lower than here, the ethnic diversity is greater.

That said, Nick Griffin and the BNP have more exposure there than any far-right party has had here for the last 10 years. So she might find she has more friends and more of an audience there than here.

That's true especially with the state of the UK economy. Bad economic times means more traction for the extremes of politics who use minority groups as scapegoats. No surprise she is apparently avoiding multicultural London and will live in the countryside over there.
