I think we will win every game we win.

I like your thinking!  :thumbsup

And my tips each week will reflect that thinking.  Now, tell me again why I never win footy tipping comps.   :-[

Every wins a bonus this year so long as we don't jeopardise pick 4

Geez with Jurrah and Morton out for half a season, don't count out the Demons getting pick 4 and 6.

Don't think they can get 2 picks at the start of the draft this year
As far as I'm aware Priority Picks are on hold

That's what I thought Infamy as the AFL wanted all of GC17's picks set in stone. One of their first 3 picks is already signed up. The Herald-Sun confused everyone saying Melbourne could get a priority pick if they won only 4 or less games again. At best priority picks will be up to the AFL's discretion. That's what I heard. If any club deserves a PP it's us given we've had the longest streak without a finals appearance.

If Melbourne did win only 4 games surely Bailey would get the flick despite the contract extension.

4-5 wins and a number of hydings. I think we should steel ourselves up for a few real old fashion thrashings

Well I will go out on a limb yet again and be abused for it.... yet again... ;D. IF..IF...IF we can prevent ball turnover and adapt to our game plan earlier than expected then 8-10 games would not be out of the question, including a top 8 spot. Really, the turnovers have killed us forever, get over that and from what I have seen, read and heard with the rest of our play we should go ok.

Yep a good win one week a 100 point turnaround the next.
The ups and down of a young young side.

I remember the Hawks went through that in 2005.

4-6 wins is the expectation still.

Richmond are bookies favourite to win spoon (Herald-Sun)

At the other end of the scale Richmond ($3.25) has taken over wooden spoon favouritism from Melbourne ($3.75).

Davies said the Tigers have clearly been the best backed team after a couple of inept pre-season performances.

Fremantle at $4.25 and North Melbourne ($6), somewhat surprisingly, are the only other sides under double figures.

How many games do people think we will win now?

A 0-3 start isn't entirely unexpected, but we have hardly been competitive for a quarter of football.

I said in another thread we would go winless and its not looking so improbable.

Right now we look like winning a quarter only when a team takes it's foot of the pedal.
It's 10 quarters down and counting.
