1 week suspension for his first alcohol related offence (club offence mind you, not public or illegal).  The real test of his character and worth as a potential AFL player will be in what he learns from it.  I'm glad some on here aren't magistrates or judges otherwise you would be looking at execution for your first speeding offence!

No Jack, I didn't miss the point at all.  It is exactly as I stated it - 1st year player, 1st mistake (at the the very minor end of the scale), so dealt with satisfactorily by the club.  The next move is up to Roberts and that's where the reality of his future prospects lives.

He's not made of wood, so he doesn't float, so he's not a duck, so he shouldn't be burnt.

There are thousands of talented players who would give an ""arm and a leg ''to be given an opportunity to play  AFL Footy.

I looked at photos of him from last year, he would have to be at least 10-15 kilos over weight as well. .
After one game and he is suspended, not good.
What sort of culture do we want to have at punt rd ???
My previous involvment tells me that the player group was split and didint gell, seems like nothing has changed.
Blame the recruiting of the playes as well as the players
Can tell you this , it isnt the first issue at punt road this year over drink
Players were seen at 6am down the beach earlier this year over an issue with a Calder Cannons player and one of our recuits.  Booze aint a good thing.
The complete list was made to serve the punishment , just not the handfull involved.

Can tell you one thing Jack, compared to before he came to Rchmond, Roberts has lost weight. Seen him play a few years ago and he has lost poo loads of weight!

I know they had to go to the beach back in Jan very very early because some nuffers were late for training

There are some things you hear and if you care for the club and you know the club doesn't want it "out there" because the are trying to change and improve things you shut up

Who are they exactly?  I know Farmer is extroverted from what I've seen, but I can't really pin the D/head label on any others.
