Raines is a definitely a spud. Back to his painful self last night.
The up & unders are back when under pressure.

Agree MM, spot on.  I made a particular point of watching for him and it was just so much of the same old for Raines.  No teaching this old dog any new tricks yet.

You wont have to when he is playing finals footy at the end of year and our boys are on there end of season trip in September ;) ::)

So what?  He's a spud in a good team.  We got a good draft pick for him.

Your a CLOWN Danog.
We gave up PICK 19 for Jordon McMahon, REMEMBER :banghead :banghead
And I have seem way too much of Matt Dea to make me sick, what pick we gave up for him,?
He cant play

Scumbag post.

He's just a boy learning the game. Go and support the Gld Coast JACK with all your high draft picks and millions of dollars where things will be done easily.

Sick of you bagging our kids.

Yes correct Dea struggled and showed he's not up to AFL football. Coburg will welcome him back for the rest of the year an dhe can continue to learn his craft.

Disgraceful support from you towards a club that needs a positive influence from all involved. We'll get no where if our players continue to cop slop from you over the fence.

I'm surprised Dea makes you sick, yet your support for our club is weaker than a Dale Thomas bench press. Cop the bumps with a grin and move on mate. If you can't do that then jump off the ship.
Go Tigers!

Who the stuff cares about Jordan McMahon?  He has NOTHING to do with this discussion.  It was a stupid, selfish Wallace trade.  There's nothing we can do about it now.

In regards to Dea, I bet you were thinking the same things about Kurt Tippett in his first few games.  He's a kid who has played 5 games of AFL.  With that minimal experience, he SMASHED Corey Jones at Coburg.  He played VERY WELL in every game at Coburg.  Give him time to develop instead of having a  :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead hissy fit at every opportunity.

We promote Polak before round 1 and dont play him :banghead

Jacko mate, you have nothing interesting, positive or enlightening to add to any of the threads.  It's been the same in all the forums you have been on.  You are tiresome, immature and a complete waste of oxygen.

Time to give it away buddy!

Fyfe was good, but so was Astbury in his first game.  Astbury was taken 1 round later than Fyfe.  You then try to compare an early 2nd round pick and a late 3rd round pick.  There's a reason for that.  Give it time.  Dea has played less than 10 games in his entire football career.  You choose to completely ignore valid points, such as Dea thrashing Jones and 2 other forwards (can't recall who) in the VFL.  St Kilda were going to take Dea with their next pick if we didn't take him at 44, so that gives you an indication of how he was rated.

You'll hear no argument from me regarding taking Hicks over Barlow.  I thought it was a big mistake at the time.  Ditto to the Polak decision though Graham's dad has just died, hence the black armbands on the weekend.  He may come in for Riewoldt if Hardwick wants to give Jack a kick up the ass.

Our drafting has gotten better, but I think Craig Cameron has to go.  FJ has been alright.

I rest my case.
WHY WOULD ANY AFL CLUB USE A DRAFT PICK ON A PLAYER WHO HAS PLAYED LESS THEN 10 GAMES IN HIS LIFE IS BEYOND BELIEF.
And , you watched him kick? Its embrassing

Once again, St Kilda were going to take Dea with their next pick.  There were others that were keenly interested too (Brisbane and North).  That's 3 AFL clubs, two of which are serious flag contenders.

I have watched him kick, and it's good at VFL level.  He's probably just struggling with the pace of the game at AFL-level.  Even Martin was astounded at the difference in the pace of the game between the NAB Cup and Round 1 of the H/A season.  If a gun like Martin takes a little bit to adapt to the game, we can give Dea a bit of time.
