GWS should have waited to see how Hunt went be for getting Izzy.

It's going to be a real battle for him, going from something he dominated to basically starting all over again. I wonder what sought of influence they think he is going to exert on the game. You would think that Polly would have been a safer bet really.

It'd be stupid to analyze Hunt now. He'll take 2-3 years to properly be judged. 1st game ever lol he did some good things, looked completely lost at times. He needs more development that anyone but he has huge upsides. Looks to have clean hands and can tackle anyone going around. I think if he got his fitness up he could be a really good run with player. Following someone who will find teh ball and feeding the ball out. I think his kicking will let himself down in the future as well as marking but I think he could be a handy run with player.

Issy will be a lot better than Hunt. He's younger, he can kick plus he has a big leap and a great set of hands. Izzy will be miles better than Hunt.

Yeah it's going to tough for him cranny, probably a bit tougher than for the irish boys. Hunt has been recruited as much for his marketing as his football, if not more.

Looking at the crowd today and the fact that ABC streamed the game shows he brings attention.( hopefully now they will stream games each week.) Notice the moblie billboards stationed around the ground?

By the time the novelty value wears off they will probably have got their money's worth in exposure, and maybe a footballer if they are lucky.

wonder what sort of exposure it will get in queensland media tonight?

Gold Coast kicked the first three goals of the match, but Coburg dominated proceedings until three quarter time, when the lead was 64 points.

Have to say - I watched the game via Aunty's streaming and couldn't have Gourdis in my best at all.  And Webberley was most definitely one of our top 3 best with Polak and Nahas.

Can anyone tell me anything about James Lawton.
I really liked his game today and think if he is as young as he looks may be a chance to be picked up at the end of the year.  I would have him before Relton Roberts on todays form at least.
I admit i havent seen him until today but he must be showig some form as he started in the ressies this year and ow is in the senoirs.

Gourdis had a very good 2nd and 3rd qtr, when the game was up for grabs he didnt put a foot wrong does a lot of things you dont see on TV Smokey even the goals to Hunt came from having to charge down Polo's man when he had run forward and Nahas turned the ball over, things coaches see that most of us dont

Nahas played well today i must admit. but gee he looks small even in todays game against alot of youngsters his so small even compared to them.
