Pies' champ sex attack probe Anthony Dowsley
Herald Sun
October 04, 2010 11:17AM A COLLINGWOOD premiership player is one of two Pies at the centre of a police sexual assault probe.
The investigation centres around an alleged assault in the hours after Collingwood's drought-breaking premiership win on Saturday.
Police have confirmed a complaint was lodged with police on Sunday morning, which is alleged to have occurred in South Melbourne.
No charges have been laid.
Both players voluntarily submitted to interviews.
Several other players have been interviewed and more will be in the near future.
"It would be inappropriate to comment further,'' a police spokeswoman said.
Collingwood management were in crisis talks this morning.
The premiership celebrations lasted until early in the morning for most Collingwood players, most drinking at upmarket nightclub Eve in City Rd.
Other teammates, coaching staff, sponsors and supporters partied at a private gathering at Tonic bar at Crown on Saturday night.
