Andy Duhau (Coburg)

Interested in this kid

Was quite impressive in the limited games I saw him play

Spent his time playing off a wing for Coburg this year. He is hard working and runs hard also. Great kid also, actually played about 3 games for Coburg last year while at the Cannons as 23rd player and did quite well.

Played a terrific game against Box Hill last year. He wore someone else's number that day.

Saw him a few times this year. Good size and work rate, knows how to get the pill. Thought his disposal by foot wasn't too flash at times.
I had trouble pronouncing his surname so called him Andy Hoohar.

Now see old mate that I have highlighted in yellow, a few of us were interested in him last year and from what I heard he didn't do too bad this year. What are the thoughts of those that saw him play and at trainig now..... could he be a dark horse later..

No, he can find the ball but his disposal is Very poor, not up to AFL standards I wouldn't have thought.

Duhau looks ok to me.  good size.

Kahlfeldt is a bit like Neville two or three years ago; lots of it, but limited disposal.

If we are only picking rookies from those that are training with us then from that leaked list you can now work out the two rookies to be picked up aside from Miller and Hislop. If not then there's two others on that leaked list who aren't training with us. We probably now won't consider one of them given we picked up that type of player in the National Draft. The other one is a blast from the past  :shh.

We'll find out who it is if we do go that way Davey before midday today  :shh.

The Club's IT guy, in an effort to publish profiles on each of our new draftees on the RFC website as soon as their names were called out, put up before the National draft publicly accessible files on each of a list of 13 kids the Club intended to draft from. The media got hold of Reece Conca's file plus word of his invitation up to the Gold Coast as a top 10 pick so they knew we were going to select him at our pick 6. It didn't make a difference in the long run it seems thankfully as we still were able to pick up 5 draftees which were all on this list. Of the remaining 8, four went to other clubs between our 1st and 2nd round picks while the other four are now possible rookie selections. In fact these profile files on the RFC website (well at least the filenames) are still publicly accessible today if you do a google search for these kids names as someone has done on BF :-X.

Except for the the conca page, the articles themselves were not publicly available, but you can get the names of the potential drfteees all the same.

The interesting thing is that you dont need to change the players name in the url, just a number. It's like the CMS ignores part of the url;

eg

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/News/2010NationalDraftNews/TelstasCMSSucks/tabid/15509/ctl/Default.aspx?

will still bring up the name tom derrickx.

This is an issue with the CMS itself. How the hell that url doesnt bring up a page does not exist message or direct back to the RFC home page is beyond me.
