PRE-SEASON training usually conjures up images of 3km time-trials, beep tests and gruelling weights sessions.

Richmond has taken a more light-hearted approach to some of its training this year if the vision the club revealed on Monday is anything to go by.

Forward Jack Riewoldt, more akin to breaking packs and taking soaring marks, shows he still possesses a finer touch while balancing a table tennis ball on a hammer.

Dustin Martin, well known for his 'don't argues' and impressive line-breaking, displays the awareness that looks set to make him one of the best midfielders in the game in a unique game involving coloured balls and bins.

Irish recruit John Heslin, already well adept at the round ball from playing soccer and Gaelic football while growing up, shows he wouldn't be out of place on a basketball court while dribbling two balls.

As for how Martin will use his card-catching skills developed in the gym, your guess is as good as ours.

The Tigers will unveil more vision in the coming months.
