OK.

Lets say for arguments sake we win against Brisbane (I understand we aren't certs).

We then get pummeled be Geel and Hawks, leaving us at 2-5.

It is genuinely probable that we then beat Melbourne and GWS to be at 4-5.

Do we sit at 4-5 hoping to go on a run and play finals??
Do we sit at 4-5 hoping to capitulate and get a better draft pick??

I wanna play finals.

I aint giving up yet.

The AFL has no depth. We can go on a run and make it, and when there who knows.

Does continuing to select the under performing senior brigade, in the place of unknown youth on the list, equate to not giving up?

In 2001 Brisbane were 4-5 after round 9, so it is possible.
However this is Richmond we're talking about.... :banghead

Good onya mate :thumbsup, of course we can make the finals, so we should play for that scenario.

We don't need all these hole so called die hard Tiger supporters that continually give up and bag the crap out of their own team, I personally don't understand how they can do that.

Anyway, as I said Good Onya Buddy keep believin, I know I will.

Oh, and I wonder if any of the clowns on here that go to the footy boo the Tigers at the start of a game or when we kick a goal, sounds to me like they probably would.

have doubts that we can beat GWS and or Melbourne. Both clubs have their tails up because they have got early wins and win in Melbournes case. Also Roos is a smart coach he won yesterdays game playing man on man footy and we cant play man on man footy.

Would just settle for a win next week and an effort of some merit against the Hawks and Cats.

Results will start to take care of themselves IMHO if they put in the effort. At the moment though, there's no effort, desire or want.

In the current climate
Forget about getting a better draft pick
Look at Geelong and Hawthorns picks
Culture problem at punt rd
We fall in love with hacks
Example being how on earth did Edwards get a game last Friday night after his efforts the previous weeks

... and what can we do with Dustin Martin, who is our number one, one-way runner?

In defence of Dusty

You have to wonder what the hell they've done to him. All pre-season we get told, he gets told, we're sending you to the HB line, season proper starts and they throw him everywhere bar the railway tracks at Jolimont station

His 2nd, 3rd efforts and defensive pressure acts in the 3rd and 4th qtrs on Friday night were excellent pity he had no one else bothering with it in the F50

1 - I think we are due to play better than we have, we can't slip that much and we will make the 8 considering how the competition is currently running, with different sides winning.

2 - if I here John's a big Tiger supporter one more time I am going to throw this iPad as far as I can!!
