How come no one is debating what he has to say? Why the abuse? Tell him why he's wrong about Greg.

I think we have a quality leader in Chris Newman - however it is time to hand over the reigns to the new breed - Cotchin, Martin & Deledio

But that does not mean we ditch Newman - whilst he has been heavily tagged, he stats show why in terms of his rankings in the stats

Newman                            Total   Rank
Disposals                            285    9
Marks                                     85    4
Frees Against                        5    24
Tackles                              39    12
Goals                                2    2
CP                                    101    12
UP                                    170    11
DE%                                 78.95    8
Clangers                              25    16
CM                                      12    5
i50                                      23    18
r50                                       41    3
1%                                       49    5
Bounces                               12    6

Attitude                    A+
Courage                   A+
Team Spirit               A+
Skill Level                A
Injury                   A

I think the coaches are too reactive when players get tagged - meaning they wait 3 games before they do something about it thinking that the player is good enough to work through it. Well I think it's time to be pro-active and start Newman on the bench or sub. Takes the pressure off him and gives another the opportunity to develop in that half back spot. I think Newman os good enough to have an impact as a sub and also possibility in the forward line.

This is an honest dig at Chris.

Why is it that, the only two times in the last 2 seasons that i can remember seeing
him display a genuine spite toward the opposition and full attack on the footy,
is after he appeared so fed up over one too many bad decisions,he would throw himself into anything to win the ball.
One was in the last qtr last week.

both times re-active

dont wish to see him in our best 22 next year

Best thing i can remember him doing for many years was that goal in the last.
