I guess from the above list you really want to see the biggest pushes from Farmer, Gourdis, Taylor, Griff, Post, Macdonald, Derickx and Dea. These blokes pushing for selection will be a great sign of the depth we are beginning to develop as a club.

Out of the young kids, I would really love to see Griffiths, Taylor, Contin and Jakobi find there way into the side at some point during the year, I think the club will give Taylor a couple games in the 2s to get some match fitness and when Griffiths comes back from injury will be played in the 2s also.

Macdonald, Grimes and Post should all get game time this year, would really like to see how a forward line of

Taylor - Riewoldt - Macdonald

Helbig - Griffiths/Vickery/Post - King

I think that forward line could have some potency and trouble a few times with height and forward pressure with the speed of all 6 players.

Out of the older blokes Moore, King and Farmer should come straight back into the side after they recover from injury and Kings suspension.

Derickx I think will come in at some point, could maybe replace Gus to give him a rest for a couple of weeks and have a ruck combo of Derickx, Vicker/Post for a few weeks to see how that goes.

It's called pinch hitting, something he did towards the end of last year a fair bit and did it quite well.

Maybe watch a bit more football?

Yeh, great idea.
Post the pinch hitter.
Says a lot about our ruck stock.
It's like putting a gay band aid over cancer.

Now we can get some honest abuse happening not the trite 15yo crap we have been putting up with.

Well done OX, good to see some class back in the forum.

I guess it is a great idea considering how well he done as a pinch hitter and completely outclassed Brogan last year playing that role.

I guess I will keep watching the footy instead of having to read some of the crap you post.  :shh

we've certainly managed to establish some depth, won't be easy to work into the senior side

As it showed last night in the third quarter, if we get the footy into our forwardline quick and with some direction we have some decent forwards. And to those who wanted to move Jack away from the goal square, it just showed how important he is at FF.
God i enjoyed that third quarter!!!
