Hicks off winded.
Cartelli - quad

So Coburg doesn't have many options on the bench.

Post has 7 contested marks.

Webbs gets it to Tuck to Morton back to Post to Nason 60m out and hits Gourdis from 51m. High ball to square and Lawton marks. Goal  :gotigers

Coburg only have themselves to blame. If they played with the last qtr intensity, directness and speed of ball movement they wouldn't have been playing catch-up footy all day. Early 2nd and early 3rd quarters cost them the game and we went wide too much too slowly. Offensively can be dangerous but we get caught on the way back due to lack of tackling and defensive pressure (they compared us to Essendon under Knights).

Post - probably the best RFC player all day.
Browne - battled well all day in the ruck.
Dea - did well early but didn't hear him called in the second half. Goo, Post and Tanner seemed to share duties on Thorton and O'hAilpin in the second half.
Nason - poor 3 quarters but lifted in the last.
Webberly - good first and last qtrs.
Derickx - had a quiet first half. Took a couple a strong marks later in the game up forward but stubbing his toe while having a shot on goal was costly.
Hicks - quiet except for those 2 goals.
Tuck - beaten by McLean according to the commentators but he did lift when the game was on the line towards the end.
Morton - in and out of the game. Not enough from an experienced player.
Gourdis - beaten by Thorton  :P when in defence. Moved forward just before 3/4 time and kicked a goal but he's only going to get a game at Richmond as a key defender.
Contin - quiet. Wouldn't have heard his name more than 5 times.
Farmer - another who needed to do more. Fairly quiet as well.

Coburg have Box Hill and Williamstown in the next two weeks so they could be 0-4  :-\.

VFL Online marks out of 10:

Dea: 6.5/10. Good early with goal saving marks and spoils.
Hicks: 5. Flashy
Webberley: 6.
Contin: 6
Browne: 7-7.5
Gourdis: 6
Nason: 5. Most of that in last qtr.
Post: 8-8.5. Good at both ends. Should have been moved back forward at the start of the last qtr. 10/10 for that mark.
Tuck: 5.5. Not worthy to be promoted to the seniors based on that.
Morton: 4.5
Farmer: 4. Kicked two but hardly sighted apart from that.
Derickx: 4 (last qtr boost to 5.5)

They gave Postie b.o.g.
