Much better, although his kicking let him down, the 25 metres kick that should have hit Miller lace up was poor , easy goal went missing.
As I said on a previous post, he averages 5 possesions a game and needs to get his hands on the ball at least 15 times a game.
To have 2 kicks and 2 handballs a quarter in a game aint too hard.
He improved last night and had 10 possesions.
Needs to go on with it now

thought Rance was okay.
he got too much uncontested possesion though.
Dont like backman zoning off and getting easy uncontested possesion.
problem with rance is this, i dont know if he is a key backman or a rebounding backman ala Chris Newman.
He doesnt have the height to be a permanent Key back person like Grimes and Mcgaune and his kicking is only average so he would be the last person you would want rebounding out of D 50.
Liked Houli game as a Defensive 6 player, used the ball well laterally and got distance

Agree Jack distnace is the key for mine, he's a long accurate kick when we need it

Connors on last chance really for mine, Astbury will be in there, he is the future, Post; not sure if he will make it, Thursty gone and I would throw Rance up forward as he can and has kicked goals.

rance poor kick, has been played up forward in pre season games and struggled

too hard on Ranca jack, he has improved his defensive skills markedly and decision making is now far more crisp than the wham bam efforts of his early days...My tip is he will easily be our BEST defender by seasons end
