I am worried by how many quickfire freo
goals happened stright after Richmond kicked major.
freo do that to every team. It's due to sandilands ruck dominance.  Not to say our defense doesn't need lots of work still.

Our defense no doubt needs development but in the second half for the first time i thought it gelled as a complete unit, Rance i thought was very good again, normally bite my nails when he is in possession but he is slowly starting to make the right decisions. Also a mention about a player who has got under the radar of alot of people and that is Conca, his decision making for a first year player with only a few games under his belt is phenomenal. Should definitely be in the running for a rising star award.

best win in years. matched a top side in a goal for goal game for most then to run over them.....

yeah, another interstate side and coming off the bye, which seems to be a factor but i cant help but think back to the brisbane game early in 2009 where we got out to an early lead, brisbane fought back and we went goal for goal for a while then just couldnt handle the pressure and folded.

hardwick has this club on the right track.  :thumbsup :gotigers

Fantastic to see all there idiots i bagged stepping up.

Rance- was outstanding in the last and reliable for the other 3.

Ty - amazing how big a role confidence can play.

Gus- I like Gus- So root me!!

Foley- another one.Incredible work rate, even though his disposal will always be heart in mouth.

Grimes - LMAO- Hee's like a fool with one ability and is outstanding at it.

I speak of course of the 1970s spoil-a great ploy by our defensive minded coaching panel.

Cotch one week,Dustin Maori the next.Awesome.

Brad Miller- i hope he roots Pia better than his kicking for goal,if not, pass the nut over.

Lids- Gun.

Jack - Great.

Nahas -  always liked and believed in this bloke.Thankfully so has he.

Jake King - see above.

White - imo was a catalyst in the last qtr by displaying guts and commitment.Love Whitey.

Jacko - work horse.

Again hugely impressed with Conca and Batchelor - wow the kid has poise. Bachar stepping up each week looking more and more comfortable in the team.
Great win tonight and with a vulnerable Doggies we have a real chance to nail a big start.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

How good is Jake Batchelor??? He looks like a veteran out there.
Houli has won me over and is getting better by the week.
Conca is going well
Kingy is killing them
Nahas has put himself in a great position with a great pre-season and is killing them with his run and carry
Foley is doing well also and providing good depth to our midfield.
Even Miller is playing his role
Just need Jack to stop trying to take mark of the year at every attempt.
