Coach Damien Hardwick, in this week’s message to Richmond members said:  “I was privileged to play in premierships at two great clubs, but I’ve never heard anything like the roar of the Tiger Army!  The noise they made last Saturday night, especially in the last quarter when we had our tails up, was just unbelievable.  They really do act as a 19th man for our side - and I don’t say that lightly!  When we get that momentum up and going, the roar that comes from the Punt Road end is truly amazing . . .”

Saints’ coach Ross Lyon had this to say in his post-match press conference:  “I thought we were game to come back when they had full momentum and the Tiger roar happening in the background.”

Fremantle coach Mark Harvey at his post-match press conference said:  “When you’ve got a crowd like a Richmond crowd, they get involved.  And, we were trying to take that away from Richmond, but we just couldn’t . . .”
