Not looking good. Farmer and hislop have been absolute liabilities. Theres no effing two ways about it. You can add Miller to that.  :banghead

Too many errors.

We are losing the game in the centre. Not being accountable enough. And once it heads into Melbs forward line our defense is weak.

Jones is killing us. Martin needs to break his tag.

Add to that Melbournes straight kicking and the umpires not paying frees to us and thats why we are 5 goals down.

take the umpiring out of it, if we were any good the umpiring would not be an issue. We just are not there yet and thats it in a nutshell.

Totally agree with your comments and thats what I meant, we just are not there!!! It's just becoming stupid that we can't stand up in these games and win.

Tired bodies tired minds, just no run today and as a result we are stationary targets, making it easy for the Dees. We have see terrible turnovers by some of our best skilled players, put in the mix Gourdis, McGuane Hisflop and we just are way off challenging against teams in the 8.

Again getting smashed at the clearances and have turned it over under pressure.

Should change it up with TV to the ruck and a smaller more mobile forward line with Jack deep in the goal sqare in the last 1/4.

Miller off, Goo to CHF as the lead up for structural purposes.

People who think brad miller gives us "structure" have their heads up their effin backsides. He is a dead set idiot.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Can't fault the effort. That last quarter was like a final.

We just can't keep letting teams get head starts.  :banghead

We had no run today no doubt but totally out of our control is the umpiring. Can anybody explain the holding the ball rule? What i dont get is if you are in possession get tackled as you kick and miss the ball the it appears to be instantly holding the ball. Why is the rule different when you get tackled and attempt to handball? I dont know how many times today we tackled players who just missed the ball with their hands and its play on.

Also on a coaching level i think the coaches have to have a serious look at our methods of ball possession in packs. Not sure if there are stats on it but we must get penalized more times for diving on the ball than any other teams. Its got to be something we are doing compared to other teams who seem to be able to bottle things up without infringing. Conca would have to have the most infringements in this area
