Poor defensive work all round with free Bullant players forward of centre gifts O'hAilpan another goal.

Dea marks the blind Bullants kick at half back. Across to Post who finds Contin hands to Farmer running through the centre and Hislop marks the fast pass 45m out. Misses after the siren.

Half-time

Coburg   0.2     4.5-29
Bullants  5.5     7.7-49

Goals: Hore 2, Power, Jordon

Browne dominating the hitouts with his height and size.

Possies (RFC players):

Webberley    15k  2h
Post              7k   5h
Hislop           6k   7h
Farmer         6k    6h
Nason and Hicks have had it about 9 times.

Browne as I said is dominating the hitouts so Coburg won the centre clearances that quarter.

Coburg has had about 50 more possies but trail by 20 pts

Inside 50s: 19 - 22

Not really much to write home about. Webberley has got a heap of it but his footskills can be hit and miss.

Browne has been well on top in the hitouts but it's been an old school ruckman role. He may get a game in the rotating door with Gus.

Post has been solid down back.

Really you don't see AFL standard players running around for us today  :-\. Hicks and O'Reilly could easily be delisted in 5 weeks time for starters.

Just to add DD one-on-one the Coburg player would be smaller than his direct Bullant opponent in at least 14 spots of the 18 on the ground. You can't play direct long-kicking footy with shrimps across every line.

Two points to the Bullants to start the 3rd quarter. ABC saying the breeze isn't as strong as earlier.

Contin's kick went straight to a Bullant but he dropped the sitter and Coburg in numbers got it to Jordon over to MacDonald to Hicks in the goalsquare for a goal into the breeze  :gotigers

Coburg working harder. Hore long to MacDonald 20m out who chips it high to Wheeler on a better angle. Goal  :gotigers

We got it forward again but Hicks goes to ground and out of the contest all too easily.

Bullants get it forward for a goal

Edit: And then another. Bullants with the numbers around the ball and a all too easy snap.
