Who is our Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine?

Liked Gus today.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Gus finally took some contested marks in the packs. Puts him ahead of Browne

Well considering Gus has been in the system 6 years and BrownE only 3 you'd think that should be the case

He better yesterday but still dropped his head and refused to run hard, chase & block a number of times in the 1st half

Agree 100% with this. Gus got beaten and not just beaten, well beaten. If you think Gus was good yesterday you watched a different game. Sure he took a couple of marks in the last but he was thrashed in the ruck. Give browne the time Gus has had, he competes so much harder IMHO.

BrownE = Hillbilly Jim, don't go messin with a country boy
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Gus comes from king Island.

they have a smaller gene than both tasmania and Katamatite

He's the hillbilly
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
