He was competitive. That's all we got him for. He was the reason why we were close to the Baggers in the clearance count.

Just had a look at the replay of the incident on youtube. I wouldn't be surprised if he got off. Contact to the head was very light and the player he struck threw his head back again after the initial contact - ie there is a minor jolt back of the head upon contact, a delay, and then the Melbourne player jolts his head back again (further and more dramatically).

It's no worse than Davey's clenched strike to the throat on Ellis IMO

davey gave ellis at least 2 that had a bit more on them than that.
