Been thinking about this and I dont see as many changes to our list as I hoped given the Contracts we have. Here is my take on what will happen from this list
with those that dont have contract past this year

2011: Astbury   -  2 year Ext
         Browne   -  1 year Ext
         Dea        -  1 year Ext
         Farmer    -  delist, trade
         Griffiths   -  2 year Ext,
         Jackson   -  Trade
         King        -  1 year Ext
         Morton    -  delist, trade
         Nahas     -  1 year Ext
         Nason     -  delist
         Newman  -  2 year Ext
         Rance     -  2 year Ext
         Taylor     - delist
         Thursfield - delist, trade
         Webberley - delist,trade

Ok your take on being the list manager for this bunch??

Thursty a keeper.  :thumbsup

You Might be right but I cant see how we are going to turn over the 10 that people are spruking given the contract situtation.

I don't disagree with much of that Fluffy but I don't think most players unless they are desperate will re-sign for just 1 year. It'll be more like 2 years performance based.

2011: Astbury   -  2 year Ext
Browne   -  2 year Ext performance based ...... still young for a big ruckman at 21 and we can't get rid of both Gus and Browne. Gus goes for mine.
Dea        -  2 year Ext performance based....... only 19 so the Club will persist with him.
         Farmer    -  delist, trade
         Griffiths   -  2 year Ext
         Jackson   -  Trade
King        -  delist, trade ...... after a bright start as a small forward he's done nothing for two months. Gawn!
         Morton    -  delist, trade
Nahas     -  2 year Ext ...... Out of him and Kingy to go so Robbie stays. Provides more impact to the side.
         Nason     -  delist
         Newman  -  2 year Ext
         Rance     -  2 year Ext
         Taylor     - delist
Thursfield - delist, trade  ...... nb. Keep as back-up if we can trade McGaune.
         Webberley - delist,trade

Delist:  Farmer, Morton, Taylor, Nason, Webberley
Trade: Jackson, King (not worth much as a trade)
One of Thursty/McGuane also to go.
I can also see us trading one of Edwards or Connors in a similar trade to Collo last year.
Rookies cut: Miller, Hislop, Westhoff, Jakobi, Hicks.

With GWS hogging the draft there's probably too many there to cut as far as the senior list unless we do well during trade week. So the 5 delistings cover 4 National draft picks plus one PSD pick. More picks/players to come via the trades.

If he was then Craig Cameron and anyone else responsible should be shot dead. A 3 year contract for a bloke that played about 15 games of SANFL twos the year we got him? Oh my stuffing god.

Pretty easy for me
2011: Astbury, Browne, Dea, Farmer, Griffiths, Jackson, King, Morton, Nahas, Nason, Newman, Rance, Taylor, Thursfield, Webberley

2012: Batchelor, Connors, Deledio, Derickx, Edwards, Foley, Gourdis, Graham, Houli, MacDonald, McGuane, Moore, Post, Tuck, Vickery, White

2013: Conca, Cotchin, Grigg, Grimes, Helbig, Martin, Riewoldt

Would also put Browne back on the rookie list, and keep Graham for one more year and hope Derickx comes on. But most importantly trade for another ruckman. (Griffin, Hampson, Marik) Trade bait would be Jackson, Foley or Edwards

So with either trade or delistment. at least 6 maybe 7 go.

Players contracts coming up
2011: Astbury, Browne, Dea, Farmer, Griffiths, Jackson, King, Morton, Nahas, Nason, Newman, Rance, Taylor, Thursfield, Webberley
2012: Batchelor, Connors, Deledio, Derickx, Edwards, Foley, Gourdis, Graham, Houli, MacDonald, McGuane, Moore, Post, Tuck, Vickery, White
2013: Conca, Cotchin, Grigg, Grimes, Helbig, Martin, Riewoldt
I would think Tuck is added to the 2011 list now he has not played the minimum number of games on his contract.
I am just a Rookie myself but I guess all 2011 players are up for renewal to continue playing for RFC.
So we have 16 players who will be uncontracted at the end of the season.
I know we still have 2 games to get excited about but who would NOT be getting renewed in the opinion of this forum??
I am picking as certain renews :Astbury, Dea, Griffiths, Nahas, Rance, Newman
Likely renews:King, Thursfield, Jackson
Swingers: Jackson, Browne, Morton
Not Renewed: Farmer, Taylor, Nason, Tuck
Personally I would like Tuck in for sure.

There's already a thread on this topic

I thought this was more of an announcement thread of contracts? I could be wrong though check with OER.

I think Thirsty is going pretty well. How will backline stack up when Newman comes back in, release delidio further upfield if Thirsty stays in.
I think Thirsty's height is good and he seems to be moving well.
I would be hesitant to let him go, remember he was to move last year but no one picked him up. Maybe he is happier now as he seems to be performing better.
A keeper I think and we need  McGuane to be gone. He is a list clogger.

I think Thursty will be kept.

Farmer, Nason, Webberley, Taylor will be delisted.

Graham a possibility to be traded i would think. (mid-late 3rd round)

Maric traded in for 3rd rounder.

Draft 2 mids first 2 rounds. Tipungwuti the little crumbing forward we need and save a pick for PSD and push someone in there like we did Houli or have a trial run at Punt Road and draft the best one like we did Grimes. Both tactics appear successful.
