This was around where he copped some nasty hits too though, I remember he got some huge crunches into the ribs and stuff but fronted up the following week.

Maybe all he needs is a decent haircut. Always looks like he's just gotten out of bed. Or maybe he suffers from some undiagnosed sleepwalking disorder. Or he went to a Peter Powers hypnotic show and at the end of the night they just plumb forgot to do the "321, you're back in the room."

Hey Davey I have thought of something that I reckon you'll like - goes back to when young Gus was a rookie running around for Coburg

Can I un-ban myself please and share  ;D

Please share your Gus memories.

Hope this meets with your approval Davey  ;D

Heard this story while watching Coburg a few years ago

A few years back when young Angus was still a rookie he had over the pre-season done some serious pumping of the old weights. This resulted in some new muscle definition in the arms, across the shoulders and around the pecs & abs which young Angus was very proud of  ;D

Being a rookie young Angus had to ply his trade down at Coburg. At Coburg when they hand out jumpers they give the bigger sized jumpers to the bigger blokes. In the case of young Angus this meant he was given a very loosely fitting jumper to wear

This did not sit well with young Angus as it would not allow him to show off his new muscles.

Angus asked for a smaller jumper (read tighter) jumper. When he was told NO, Angus came up with a plan

He took his jumper home and went off to a "seamstress" and had his jumper altered by having it taken in at the sides to create a much smaller size.

First game young Angus had his tight jumper that enable him to strut around the field and show off  his muscles.... unfortunately there was one small problem after running around a bit and having to "suck in some deep ones" young Angus found that his requested alterations had made the jumper a way bit too tight thus making breathing a touch difficult.....

The follwoing week young Angus had re-altered the jumper to make it a tad bit looser by creating a small rip under the arms along the seam  :thumbsup

Gus after his first hitout to advantage  :bow

meanwhile Foley turns it over and the opposition rebound and kick a goal.

Gus nearly dies of shock

Here is Gus after he dropped NicNat with one shot. Some hacker comes in to help NicNat but the photo doesn't show that Gus destroyed him only a few seconds later
