Luke will gratefully and gladly accept any trade suggested to him, in the same way as my dad gladly married my mum.....

All we need is to locate a shotgun.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

I thought the best chance to get a draft pick for Luke was when GC came in last year, I don't hold out much hoPe of us getting anything for him

McGuane has now become our 3rd Tall/backup option in defense. He would some currency. Connors is less likely to go - he's actually Dusty's best mate as well.

if you include Moore is 7th in line

1st - rance
2nd - grimes
3rd - post.
4th - astbury
5th - thursfield.

Add Robin Nahas and he's 8th. In all seriousness would be a better option  :lol

I'd even throw kinch back down there at ninth so that's terrific tenth in line for luke

Yep his trade value is non-existent now  :P. The problem last year was Luke was contracted for another two years so GC couldn't touch him even if they wanted him  :P.

Triple M rumour apparently a few offers have been made to Luke yet none to Connors. What is going on with that? Confusion over who is who?

I think McGuane would be worth something as a depth player to some teams not in rebuilding mode.  He isn't the best AFL player going around but he's not the worst either and he has played a fair bit of the last couple of seasons in roles not suited to him.  He would be serviceable as the 3rd tall backman in a side with decent key tall backs and as depth it's not surprising to me that he would attract some interest.  Moreso than Connors who has only had a fleeting moment of decent form and has probably earned himself a reputation as a problem child after the ruckus in Sydney last year.  Disappearing from the limelight this season (whether injured or not) will not have helped his cause and if he does attract interest I can only imagine it will be at a bargain basement price.

Ask yourselves on question if McGuane had been playing for say Hawthorn and he was playing instead of Schoenmakers - would Hawthorn have lost against Collingwood? If I was Hawthorn Id offer us a bag of pretzels and IMHO we should take it. Pretzels are good for you  ;D

Defender Luke McGuane seems unlikely to get to Brisbane despite reports, while rebounding defender Dan Connors drew little interest from rivals.
