Not really but horses for courses. Anthony was lucky to get a handful of games last year at the Pies in a premiership year and hardly got a game at Freo this year.
Toovey is a serviceable foot soldier. If merely because he was a foot soldier in a premiership team makes him worthless to some so be it. It's not as if he's an Aaron Keating or a Greg Madigan who played a handful of games at the right time of the year and played in a flag b/c of injuries and suspensions to regulars. Toovey has played most games in the last two seasons.
Will add depth and run off half back and may allow us to move Lids into the midfield to cause damage. I say go for it Tiges.

Agree with the good/ordinary looks better in a well drilled team angle. No for mine .....

Pity some don't support getting rid of players like Edwards as they for not getting better players such as Toovey.... :banghead :banghead

Toovey over Edwards any day but we will still remain with the poo bowl nearly full.

Massive sigh............I really think some of you are scared to get into the 8.....or play finals for that matter.

Every player that is up for trade in one way or another by someone on this forum is not good enough.

Thers are no Judds so we need to get the best available out there, including Toovey....we can't keep pretending that re-building will save this club....Deledio, Cotch, Jack will be finished and we will still be re-building....
