Pick 31 Andrew Boseley
From: (Geelong Falcons, Vic)
Date of birth: 4/09/92

A KP Back who attacks and reads the ball well in
the air. Very quick, competes well. Essendon will be hoping he can fill Dustin Fletchers boots if he ever retires.

Being lightweight (sub-70kgs) will be the main knock on Crozier. He could put on 10kgs and he'd still be skinny for his height.

Pick #26 Brad McKenzie (Sturt)

DOB: 29/5/93. Ht: 188cm. Wt: 75kg.
Pos: Medium defender.

Brad is one of the best kicks in this years draft. Whilst he is listed as a medium defender, given time to develop, he will make an excellent medium midfielder with both inside and outside attributes. He also is very good overhead and has strong hands. The Richmond Football Club is rapt that he made it to selection 26 as we were certain he would go much earlier.
Whilst he does not possess explosive speed over 10m, over 20m he really kicks into another gear and shows true pace.

Check out his video and you will see that this kid is all class.

Not going to bag this one tiga as he's a good height although at AFL level I see McKenzie playing HBF rather than in the middle unless he can put on 10kgs in the gym. He's slim for a 6' 2" kid.

Hardwick with his Hawthorn coaching background may take a liking to a skillful lefty who can hoof it for tactical reasons. It's not as though we don't need more good kicks across the ground especially with the zoning and press in modern footy.

Fair enough MT. I'm more interested in whether he can play than how much he weighs at 17 and I think he's one of the best in the draft in that respect.
We'll see in time how he works out.

Pick 35 SAINTS Hayden Schloithe Fwd/Mid WA
Lightening quick medium forward who you would hope can run through the midfield in time. Schloithe is an exciting prospect who will begin his career as a forward who will have the dual role of kicking goals and using his speed to create defensive pressure in the fwd line. I think the Saints need a bit of X factor and this bloke has it.

Pick 36. Melbourne - Sebastian Ross (07/05/1993, 187cm, 82kg, North Ballarat Rebels)

After losing Scully to GWS, the Demons decide to replenish their midfield stocks with Seb Ross who is a medium-sized midfielder rated for his good footskills (left footer), smarts in traffic and tackling pressure. In his 12 TAC Cup appearances this year he was named in the bests 8 times averaging 25 disposals, 4.5 marks, 3.5 tackles and 10 handball receives per game. So he can find the footy himself as well as link up in the play. The query on him is over his athleticism (he's more a natural footballer) but he has the body to play some senior AFL games next year and at pick 36 could turn out to be a steal.

Don't laugh WP. I've just signed up Jackstar as part of my recruiting team and he rates Dawson, so he is a special to go to us at 40.  ;D
