Was a terrible mid-fielder, who turned the ball over more some of those we are critical of today

Yes he always had plenty of kicks but it was what he didn with them that was the problem.

One of the best trades we ever did was shipping him off to Sydeny for Staffy 

Each to their own but ot me he was a DUD 

What a load of garbage. Duds don't win B&Fs, lead a club in goal kicking or get plenty of Brownlow votes. One good year? garbage! Which year do you think that was? 1995? I guess you thought he was a dud for the next few season as well.
