Happy with the first two picks but thought we could have gone taller with #55.
Arnot looks a unit though and if he can force his way into the side and knock out a Edwards, White, Jackson or even a Foley (Based on his form ast season) then it's a win for us....

Why did you want a tall?

We have Moore. Mcgaune. Miller. Maric. Graham.

We are more stocked or developing talks than in recent decades: Gourdis. Grimes. Rance. Riewoldt. Astbury. Post. Elton. Griffiths. Vickery. Derrickxs. Browne.

I think we might go for a mid size forward in the rookie / PSD
Types as Edwards. Connors. King white etc have question marks. Helbig. McDonald unproven

Sorry Bent's, I meant "tall back" IMO Rance and Grimes are the only two down there that are up to it! Gourdis....gone this season if not next. McGuane....Needs a huge season yo keep his spot! Ditto Post. Astbury has the potential but is far from a lock at yhe moment. Apart from that we have SFA in the tall back department. We loose Rance or Grimes were screwed.

Not overly active picks we've got 2 players that have the potential to be apart of our hopeful finals / top 4 and eventual premiership tilt. With the 3rd looking promising as well.

Can't complain with that.

We are weak in defense and ruck. We nabbed a skillful big man and picked up a defensively skilled midfielder.

Pretty much ticked all the boxes.

Time will tell though.

Ruck looks less weak:

1.  Maric.
2. Derickx.
3.  Browne.
4. Post.
5. Elton.
6. Vickery (don't risk in ruck)
7. Shane tuck
8. Graham.

Happy with picks but note did not pick up a snall forward. How quick are the recruits?

Soo peed off that GWS jagged both Adams and Devon Smith at 13 & 14. I hope Morris was worth it as the slip from 14 to 15 could turn out to be a crucial one. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the ass ala Tambo /buddy

All are great kicks which is a tick.
Ellis is a lot like Morris, so dont know why you will pick up same type player.
Elton a bit soft
Arnott and Ellis are both hard at it, Arnott is a tad slow .

Yes, but you can break that down further to...

Pure Rucks
Browne.......Big ??? Out of Contract 2012
Gus...........Need to harden up big time, out of contract 2012
Maric.........Allot of pressure, should be our number 1 ruck have to wait and see.
Vickery......To valuable as a forward ATM, pinch hitter at best.
Derickx......Yet to play, big ???, out of Contract 2012

Pinch Hitters
Tuck.......Clutching at straws if we need to ruck him, out of contract 2012
Post.....See above.
Elton.....First year player, will need time.

You could hardly say our Ruck stocks are great considering 5 of the 8 could be gone at the end of next season!
WE really need to rookie another Tall ruckman or two!

Imagine sombody saying that 12 months ago, they would of been laughed out of the place. Things can change so much and you watch your 3rd and 4th year guys come on this year.

Only thing is to me we are carrying 6 Rucks or Ruck/Fowards on out main list this season, is that too many seeing only 2 of them can really get a game each week ?
Here , kitty kitty. Here , kitty kitty.   AAAUGH!
