May have posted this before, but....

a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away away ( Melbourne actually) I saw a 'on the couch' style show that had Mike, Special bruce and Mal blight. One night they had Mathew on as a guest and the discussion between him and blight was as good a football discussion as you will hear (except on OER that is  ;D).

Bruce being the consummate professional would prompt with questions or statements and then sit back and listen to what these two had to say.

Mike on the other hand constantly interjected with his own opinions and observations, trying to participate in the conversation. Blight and matheews basically ignored him, but that didnt stop his foolish ways.

That was when i first appreciated what a dick he actually is.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

He's just another journalist among the many with an over-inflated opinion of themselves.
He probably rates in the overall scheme of things, but to what degree.  Great?  Don't think so.  Just a plodder who was there at the right time with journalists becoming TV stars as well.
What are his achievements exactly apart from the daily reporting of AFL news?
Has he influenced younger journalists?  Maybe, who knows, but it's not greatly apparent.
Well done Mike in doing what most of us all do daily - our jobs!

Jack is right, some of you should have a good think before you post.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Jack is right, some of you should have a good think before you post.
These are just opinions - you have them, i have them, everyone has them - they're neither right nor wrong - they're just opinions.
