Microsoft vision 2019

http://thesocialmediaguide.com/social_media/future-vision-montage-microsoft-in-2019

Microsoft has collaborated with customers, partners, and thought leaders across multiple disciplines to develop scenarios that explore how long-term trends, customer challenges, and emerging technologies might converge to improve our lives, both at work and home.

Check out the vid. It's not that far fetched, but still mind blowing!

This guy is an educator? God help us all!! A constant negative attitude must be a real winner in the classroom  :thumbsup Probably stuck in band 2 hell.

Great post Dooks.  :clapping Refreshing to see that many of the technologies presented in 2009 are now becoming commonplace.

All I wanted to do is share something interesting with everyone here. Most of the technology hasn't been introduced in practice.

To be cut down and ridiculed with such vigorous intent is unnessesary and hurtful  :-\

Dooks, A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of mucking around with the Microsoft 'milan project' Coffee table computer. If you look at the link below, you will see some similarities with its desktop interface and some of the technologies in your link.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

I think they renamed the project "Google Dead Calm"  :lol

In all seriousness though, I think they focused their energies more on google plus. Not quite the same but there are some features in plus similar to wave.
