not sure what attracted them TBH. he did give his all though
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

cotch plays with a stoop. it's actually advantageous, as long as you straighten up to mark, as it lowers your center of gravity

I remember reading that Emma Quayle was allowed to sit in on a recruiters meeting at Hawthorn and they were very keen on patto in the year we drafted him.

My suspicion is that he is the one player that Hardwick said he would have kept

Pattos stoop was accentuated when in a marking contest, I believe was recruited to be the jumping bag at training

unfortunately he had the agility and lateral movement of a mack truck - Ben Holland 2.0 minus the marking prowess

 :lol Excellent description.

Patto, the guy not tall enough to be a ruckman who can't jump or mark above his head.

Not doubting his heart or work ethic and I'm sure he's a great bloke but the Hawks are welcome to him.

He will always be a member of the Fab 5 to me.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Those kids were on the gear for sure. Even the dog looks like he's eaten one too many hash treats.

yeah there was. just need to to find a write up from a richmond perspective.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

both sides were minus their top line mids and we "pasted" them at the stoppages, according to a hawk who attended.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
