As a side note, I was at a function last year and Bachar said he was looking to model his game on Shaw. Hopefully he surpasses him this year.
Bachar to become the player we wanted Andrew Raines to become after 2006 when Rainesy jnr finished 2nd in the Rising Star ahead of Shaw. Shaw kept improving and ended up a premiership player while Raines stalled on his tram tracks and had to be offloaded :-\.

Yeah sucks re Raines after such a bright start. Bachar has it all over him as a player.

Raines has more ticker. A lot more ticker. Am happy with Houli though ;D
