Kel Moore hasn't been in the leadership group for a couple of seasons now

I understand the playing group & coaches determine the group but I have to say I am staggered to see Jackson's name remain. But I still think it sends a terrible message to young players and supporters in that on field ill discipline appears to be rewarded

Actually I think Daniel could have made a massive statement by saying "thanks guys but I beleive it's best I decline until I prove to everyone that I have the ill discipline brain explosions under control"

I like the guy and he seems clever but IMO he is not in our best 30 players at the club?  Love for him to prove me wrong this year and have a blinder.  Will be happy to be proved incorrect.

Is there room for him and Tucky in the 22 if we are to play finals?

Judging by reports on how encouraging Kingy is, you could think he'd deserve it. You could argue his previous discipline problems, or not very high skill but those are both problems with Jackson

It would be great for the coaches to come out and say what it actually is they see in Jackson. As soon as this was posted by the RFC on Facebook, even the general squibs were in uproar over this decision. So it's not like it's just a little anti-Jackson cult that exists on a couple internerd forums. Surely the club must be aware of this.

Whacko Jacko is heavily involved in the AFLPA and does plenty of fine work behind the scenes.
This won't change anything, he'll still have to win his spot in the 22.

Bit of a joke, how can young up and coming talented players take leadership seriously from a player who shouldnt be best 22. On field leaders need to set examples on field and very limited playing ability aside, Jackos leadership on field has been a disgrace.
