Working off a hangover at home... If there was information about the intra-club posted YESTERDAY, I might have been able to go.

From RFC twitter:

The best view in the house for #tigesintra which is about to kick off at Whitten Oval

Jacko puts it on the boot for the orange team

Willie Wheeler kicks a left foot banana for the orange team..Jack misses for the greens. Oranges ahead by a couple

You'd say the probables are wearing green, possibles in orange #tigesintra Arnot given the tagging role of Cotch

Even for #tigesintra it's chaos on the bench @ EJ Whitten Oval

Brad Miller and Newmn kick a goals for the greens and they've got a small lead #tigesintra Newy's skills looking sharp as always

And thats a wrap, boys looking pretty sharp. The game finishes with a great chase down tackle by Morro #tigesintra

SEN saying the Club said Lids came off with minor back tightness. Nothing to worry about.

They played 3 quarters. Lids came off in the first and played no further part.

Jack kicked 1-2 goals in the 3rd (final) quarter. Looked strong having come back from 5 surgeries post-season.

Cotch excellent. Going to go to the next level in 2012. "Ablett-esque" in the way he's moving and skill level.

A number of youngsters going well also but all will be revealed in the NAB Cup next week.

My view on game is as follows.
King Cotchin and Martin stand outs.
Maric ok in ruck,
Riewoldt best of fowards.
Poor game, skills just.
Will say that Connors-terrible !!!!

Maybe that's why the didn't continue playing him Jack?

SEN saying lower back, you're saying hammy; the two are usually related (turst me I know ;D)

Tight hammy caused by back soreness, no point in risking a more serious injury in a scratch match  :thumbsup

From the HUN:

Richmond star Brett Deledio suffers lower back/hamstring scare
by: Michael Warner From: Herald Sun February 10, 2012 2:48PM

RICHMOND star Brett Deledio suffered an injury scare in today's intra-club practice match at Whitten Oval.

The Tigers vice-captain (ED: HUN as accurate as ever  :wallywink) left the Whitten Oval early in the match with lower back/hamstring soreness.

Assistant coach Ross Smith said Deledio left the ground only as a precaution.

Fellow midfielder Trent Cotchin was the stand-out of the pre-season hit-out

Went to today's Intraclub Praccy Match at the Whitten Oval. Most of the list played as far as I could see with Griffiths and Astbury as notable omissions. Feel free to ask any questions but in the meantime I will proffer some observations.

First Year Players: Ellis and Arnott were not intimidated in the slightest. Arnotts inside grunt was evident however I can see trouble with his aerobic capacity over 4 quarters. Ellis seemed to knit with Grimes and Rance seamlessly. Darrou is a brute, but will need time. Elton is a project player and is a least 2 years away - too skinny. The one I really liked was Piva Wright - this boy has speed and a leap and is big-bodied even at this young age. He positioned himself well and gave a solid contest to Jack and Co.

Older players: Best: King, Martin, Conca and Foley. Jack looked to be moving well. I love Conca's attack on the ball. He is a deadset inside/outside mid and seems to direct play intuitively. Eddo has gained muscle but may have lost speed. Post - not sighted. Vickery moved well....and unfortunately is probably our best Ruck prospect. Maric, Browne, and Graham are on par with Maric possibly shading the other 2. Loved the look of Grimes/Rance/Batch. Moore and Dea were servicable. Dan Conners played forward and looked likely. Newy kicked a goal from outside 50 and I couldn't help thinking that he really should be played forward of the ball.

Conditions were typical W/O with the wind driving down to the Northern end so the game was a bit patchy overall.

Ok fire away.
