Port's flogging the Blues at Footy Park  . No Murphy and Carazzo = No Carlton. I wish we were playing the bluebaggers now. We'd pump them in their current form.

With Melbourne at least having a dip tonight all the negative media focus will be on Ninth Melbourne this week. There's similarities with us under Plough when we copped those sort of 100+ point hidings. An older group they rely heavily on that hasn't ever delivered and mostly younger players who lack that young gun class.

Once the papers run their feel good back page stories with Mark Neeld and the Dees they will turn their focus on the Cheats and the sorry state they are in. Bit of pressure on Ratts with Geelong and West Coast over the next few weeks.

Top 8 is gone for this season and that 129 point win against GWS all but gone from their % after today's heavy loss which has gone from 112% to 99% Their win against Geelong very token considering the form the Cats have been in all year. In hindsight maybe all it did was hinder our chances the following week.
Anyway can't sack Brad Scott only $10 in the club bank account. Another season and a half of the same old footy and it will get better once Boomer retires.

The round of upsets continues. The Lions kicked 8 goals in the last quarter to come from 20 points down to knock off the Eagles. The game also had one of the worst umpiring decisions you'll ever see where an Eagles player forearmed the Lions' sub Green in the head leaving him on the ground and no free was paid  . The weagles really are the umps' pets this year.

In the next game, the Swans have kicked 9 goals to one in the first qtr against the Doggies.
