Saints season over now you'd reckon after being pipped by the Pies and with North and Freo winning and ahead of them now.

Yes, and the black and white filth can consider themselves very lucky that it wasn't a draw. Must be nice to be the most protected side in the competition.

25-14 in free kicks wasn't it?

Having said that, the way they umpire these days, it was a free to O'Brien as Milne took his eye off the ball. We've copped a lot harsher ones than that one (Newy against Watts last year  ::) ).

Swans up by 21 on Carlton at half-time. Hope they end the Blues' finals chances today  :thumbsup

Now if Effin-dumb could just tumble out of the 8 as well, things would be sweet. Apparently when we lost to GC they were watching on in amusement at an airport lounge on their way home from an earlier game. Who's laughing now you Bummer scumbags? :rollin

RR if that's true about them watching the game, then nothing will make me happier then them falling out of the 8. Although I'd love to see north come 9th and essendon finish 8th so they fly to perth and get walloped by west coast

A week is a long time in footy. Last week Hawkins kicked the winning goal from beyond 50 after the siren; tonight he gets knocked out in the first quarter crashing head first into the hard Subi turf after going for a pack mark .... Ouch! It looked bad with him face down on the ground for 10mins but he seems okay now and is walking around in the rooms thankfully.

It's unreal how much Hawkins has come on. Most people thought he was a useless spud until finals last year. He's a beast

Great player Hawkins but Cox gee he is something else.

Just had a look at where he went in the draft. Rookie

Unbelievable

Would love to see him win a Brownlow

That's right daniel, no household names there but they rise to the occasion.
And no suprise, dubious free paid to wce resulting in goal and they won by 5 pts.

That's because they weren't getting all their own way for once, after Scott publically highlighted the discrepancy in free kicks against Interstate sides. I can only hope the umps are just as even-handed when we play the Dockers soon. Though I'm sure we'll cop it from them just like we did when we played Freo in Melbourne.
Incidentally, how ridiculous were the umpires in their interpretation of deliberate out of bounds last night? I hope this isn't their flavour of the week rule come Sunday.

Imagine the slagging off if he had been at richmond.
