If he played for Richmond you'd think he was better than any other forward we have bar Jack. The bloke is a gun ffs

No disputing Hurley is a good player.
Where I have Vickery ahead currently is his ability to ruck as well as being every bit as dangerous up forward as Hurley.
In the current climate, I see Vickery as more valuable.

Where I have Hurley ahead is he can play the two most important positions on the ground
Vicks could become the better player if he actually becomes a gun ruck, but at the moment he's not, and he doesn't get as much of the ball as Hurley or take as many marks

I agree with this, Hurley ahead now - Vickery closed the gap last season, if he backs it up and takes another step and like you said becomes more valuable in the ruck, then he'll be every bit as important a player as Hurley if not more so

Let's not forget that other players from other teams can improve too now will we?

hurley is not ahead of vickery , thats bs, vickery has shown more and has had to play ruck also. is much tallker and his body still developing.

hurley is been judged on his potential but not on what he has achieved, hurley overrated and the bombers will regret not cashing in on him

Of course not, but some can improve at a greater capacity than others, vicks improved more than Hurley last season, granted he's coming from further back, but he came on heaps, needs to back it up though

Harsh, Hurley is a gun young KPP, I just feel he gets over rated at times when not warranted like a few other youngsters, but his best is exceptional.... apart from last season, Vicks has been very raw and barely had an impact which is not a criticism just reality with a young ruckman

Let's not forget that 'username:' is the bloke that said Tambling was a required player at Richmond and that Dimma thought he was a gun and had a role set out for him.

And quite clearly it's the bloke that thinks Tambling's a legend and Hurley is poo that needs a life. Actually, a mental home would be the place for someone like that. Maybe some growth hormones would be handy too :thumbsup

Kind regards,

Very happy with Vickery; he just needs to continue to improve on 2011

But ....

Hurley is a very good young KPP player

If we could get him would I want the Tigers to go after him = absolutely

He would easily solve part of the problem we have with KPP backmen. IMHO Hurley is a better defender than forward
