There wasn't that much more to it.
They were talking about how players do " jobs" for the coaching staff that for some reason supporters cannot see.
The club called Robbo to explain that their view of his article wasn't informed and that they (the club) felt he (Dan Jackson) has done a lock down job on Heath Shaw.
I guess the tactic of Dan Jackson was to let the ball fly through his hands, turn it over when kicking it which included not getting the ball spin properly when kicking from a standing start.
This butchering of the ball has obviously intimidated Heath Shaw into thinking that there is something wrong with the ball and if he was to attempt touching it, also the ball would fly through his hands and not spin properly when trying to kick it.
Hence successful lock down job by DJ.
Well that's the best I can come up with

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Why would the club feel the need to call a Herald Sun journo? A little bit sensitive aren't we? I wonder why? And why would you lock down a guy that sprays kicks everywhere?
Bad news is, looks like Jackson will get a game against Melbourne, he'll do a 'lockdown' on one of their C-Grade mids and secure another couple of games for himself at least.

Surely Dimma proved himself a good coach when he left Gibbs running around setting up play in the backline without an opponent for just the last two quarters of the match  :huh

You guys are clueless

Agree, leaving Daisy Thomas off the leash for the first 6 minutes of the Third quarter was a master stroke......when will people learn.

It's funny, Martin was questioned in his defensive inabilities by not chasing  yet the club saw no reason to ring Robbo on that yet Jako gets the clubs full support?

I'm not getting something here lads. ::)

Perhaps alot of people are too sensitive. ::)

Jack probably had an "emotional" word to the club about things affecting his performances

If Jackson plays then Hardwick should resign. Hardwick needs to do the right thing by the club and drop Jackson. If he doesnt drop him it means Hardwick doesnt have the balls for the job. Made a decent start to proceedings as a coach but sadly has fallen for the same old trick of keeping players like Jackson on. If Jackson plays poorly and we lose and Hardwick doesnt resign the club should sack him and appoint Malthouse.
